A thrilling account of the author's expedition north, through Scandinavia and into the Arctic Circle, with chapters entitled Beyond Ultima Thule, The Land of White Death, Lapland, and Where the Sun Shines. Written by Felice Bellotti, an Italian explorer and author. Translated by James Cadell, a New Zealand Pākehā Māori, sealer and interpreter.

Condition

In the original black cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear to the extremities. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also smart with light shelf wear and chipping to the extremities resulting in minor loss to the head of the spine. Sunning to the spine. The odd mark and the odd small closed tear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
