A limited edition, first edition work.

This is the very scarce edition de luxe, and is no. 3 of 25 de luxe copies produced. Flat signed by the author, Frank Tilley, to the title page.

Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, nine colour plates, and LXVII monochrome plates.

Collated, complete.

Tilley presents a detailed study of teapots in pottery and porcelain, with a discission of their origins, and descriptive passages to accompany plates.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Front board bright, with back strip lightly age toned, and with damp staining to rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Signed to title page. Pages clean and bright.
