In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light wear and fading to the extremities. Original dust wrappers remain unclipped other than The Neglected War which has been price-clipped. Wrappers are smart with light wear and chipping to the extremities. Minor sunning to the spines with light spotting to the odd wrapper and the odd small mark to the panels. Minor loss to the head of the spine to A Reed Shaken by the Wind. The wrapper of Syria and Lebanon has been taped to the boards and is unable to be removed. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot and light age toning to the endpapers. Contemporary ink inscription to the odd front endpaper. Markings to the endpapers of Syria and Lebanon, with a library bookplate to the rear endpaper. Library bookplates and stickers to the front pastedown and endpapers of Philby of Arabia, with ink stamps to the endpapers.
