Illustrated with fifty plates of photographs by the author.

Stark was an explorer and travel writer who travelled extensively through the Middle East and Afghanistan. 

Collated, complete.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fine. Dust wrapper is smart with light edge wear and a few minor marks. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
