This work was edited by C. Day Lewis and John Lehmann and features a selection of poetry by popular authors from the time of publication. This collection contains work from poets such as W. B. Yeats, Laurence Binyon, T. S. Eliot and John Lehmann.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally excellent with the odd minor mark and very slight fading to the head of the front board and to the head and tail of the spine. Old ink inscription dated 1957 to the front free end paper. The wrap is very smart with sunning to the spine, the odd closed tear to the head of the wrap and minor offsetting to the extremities to the fly leaves. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with very light offsetting to page 43 caused by a loosely inserted news paper clipping.
