A very scarce work, illustrated throughout in colour by J. Lagarde.
With a leg and head that fold out from the rear pastedown, flipping the pages of this work reveals six different charming outfits Ritou can be dressed in. With an additional outfit to the rear pastedown.
With the label of Michael and Megan Dawson, a husband and wife who established a successful business dealing in and restoring pop-up books, to the head of the front pastedown.
A contemporary stamp to the tail of the front pastedown reads 'Offert par les Chocolats Nestle-Kohler'.
Condition
In the publisher's original spiral-bound pictorial laminate covered paper wraps. Light spotting to front wrap head, with wraps lightly age toned to perimeters. Former owner's label and a contemporary ink stamp to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to final leaf, with pages otherwise clean and bright.
