Description

First Edition, Illustrated, Limited Edition

'Red Lacquer Days' came about as a result of the author being invited to become a member of a cultural delegation who were expected to promote a message of goodwill. The work comprises sketches and extracts by Casson from a journal he kept during the important visit.

Written and illustrated by Sir Hugh Casson (1910-1999), a British artist, interior designer and architect.

This is a limited edition, with two hundred copies produced, of which this is No. 113.

Condition

In a full cloth binding. Externally lovel, very minor wear only. Internally firmly bound, pages are bright and clean with only the odd instance of spotting.
