The Journal of Analytical Psychology was the leading international Jungian publication, particular known for its exploration of the relationship between analytical psychology and psychoanalysis.
These particular articles were written by German-born psychologist Philip Metman, who lived and practiced in London. With three signed christmas cards from the author and his wife, loosely inserted.

Volume I, Number 2, 'The Ego in Schizophrenia.Part I. The Accessibility of Schizophrenics to Analytical Approaches'.
Volume II, Number I, 'The Ego in Schizophrenia. Part II. Types and their Treatment under Consulting-room Conditions'.
Volume III, Number I.'The Trickster Figure in Schizophrenia'.
Also included is 'Reflections on Samuel Beckett's Plays', written by Eva Metman. An interesting work which views Beckett's plays from a psychoanalytic point of view.
With an ink inscription of Tim Whitside.
Condition
Bound in quarter morocco with cloth boards. Externally, smart, with light rubbing to the spine and the odd mark to cloth. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with the occasional light mark.
