The Royal Hampshire Regiment was a line infantry regiment of the British Army, created as part of the Children's Reforms in 1881. The regiment existed continuously for 111 years and served in the Second Boer War, World War I and World War II.
Condition
In publisher's original cloth binding. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart. Bumping to extremities, most significant to the tail of the spine. Light rubbing to rear of boards. Dust wrapper is sound. Tear to joint, leaving dust wrapper in two pieces. Chipping at the head and tail of the spine and top edge. Closed tears to top edge. Archival tape to rear of wrap. Age toned to edges with the odd mark. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Small tide mark to fore edge.
