A charming retelling of Peter Pan and Wendy by J. M. Barrie. Following the adventures of a free-spirited and mischievous young boy who can fly and never grows up, interacting with fairies, pirates, mermaids, and occasionally ordinary children from the world outside Neverland like Wendy. Written by Mary Clarissa "May" Byron, a British writer and poet, best known for this work. Illustrated by Mabel Lucie Attwell, a British illustrator and comics artist known for her cute, nostalgic drawings of children.
Condition
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor wear to the extremities and light fading to the spine. Original unclipped dust wrapper is sound with light wear and chipping to the extremities. Sunning to the spine with marks to the panels. The odd small closed tear to the panel edges with a 1" closed tear to the tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
