Description
Illustrated
Waller (1875-1955) was a Swedish surgeon known for his lavish collection of medical works, which he left to Uppsala University in his will. This catalogue of his works were compiled by Hans Sallander.
A limited edition, with only one thousand six hundred copies printed.
In two volumes.
With numerous leaves throughout unopened, including the plates.
Volume I is complete with forty-eight plates, and volume II with seven. Collated, complete.
A first edition of this important medical bibliography.
Condition
In the original paper covered wraps. Externally generally smart, with some edgewear, more noticeable to volume II. Internally, binding is generally firm; four leaves of the front blanks of both volumes are loose but present. Pages are unopened in many places, and bright and clean.
