Acclaimed as the greatest novel written about the War Between the States, 'Andersonville' won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction the year after its publication.
Written by American journalist, novelist and screenwriter MacKinlay Kantor. Another of his novels, 'Glory for Me', was the basis for the film 'The Best Years of Our Lives', which won seven Oscars and became the highest-grossing film since 'Gone with the Wind'.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally, with rubbing to the spine, with a split to the cloth to the front joint as well as a small tear below it. Joints and hinges remain firm. Spots and marks to the cloth. Internally, firmly bound. With minor offsetting to the endpapers, otherwise bright and clean.
