    A handsome six-volume set of the complete works of Gil Vicente (c.1465–c.1536), the seminal Portuguese playwright and poet widely regarded as the “father of Portuguese drama.”

    Volume II, third edition (1959).

    Volume III, third edition (1963).

    Volume IV, third edition (1963).

    Volume V, third edition Undated.

    Volume Vi second edition (1955).

    Condition

    Bound in full calf. Externally, very smart. One or two handling marks to boards. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities resulting in slight loss to calf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean if slightly age toned, with one or two spots to fore edges.
