This book tells the story of the early life of Henry Esmond, a colonel in the service of Queen Anne of England, and is considered a typical example of the Victorian historical novel.
Condition
In the original pictorial cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor fading to the spines. Original cloth covered slip cases are also very smart with minor rubbing to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
