In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper.
This work was written by Canon Humphrey Philipps Walcot Burton, the rector of Louth Parish Church, and provides an autobiographical account of his life and his observations of the Anglican church.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart with slight fading to the head and tail of the spine, and minimal bumping to the extremities. Offsetting to the endpapers. The wrap is generally smart with the odd small chip and very small closed tear, slight handling marks and tape repairs to the verso. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with the odd minor spot to the front. Newspaper articles on the death of the author adhered to the front blanks.
