The 'Silver Jubilee' memento issued for the 25th anniversary dinner of the founding of the Limited Editions Club, held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York in 1954.
With a selective series of dinners and programs from past years, each accompanied by an apophthegm associated with the menu courses and wines. With an extensive list of guests, including figure such as Robert Frost and Ernest Hemingway.
With two newspaper clippings from The Times 2008 and 2011 loosely inserted, covering the grade and population of oysters.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with slight rubbing to the spine head and board corners and a small mark to the front board. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
