The first edition of this work. In the original price-clipped dustwrapper. 'The Nightmare' is a novel based on the events in Nazi Germany, ending with the Nuremberg trials. Written by C. S. Forester, a novelist known for his naval works, such as his Horatio Hornblower series. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original price-clipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. A couple of very light marks to the boards. Very minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Dustwrapper with a small tape repair to the reverse. Light edgewear to the dustwrapper. Minor discolouration to the spine and reverse of the dustwrapper. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
