Osbert Sitwell brilliantly summarises his forty years of travel across four continents within this work, with much of it relating to the years since the end of the Second World War.
Sitwell was a popular English writer who also produced novels of a variety of genres.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, with light sunning to the spine and shelf wear. Light marks to the boards. Dust wrapper is edge worn, with a closed tear to the front hinge and slight chipping to the spine. Handling marks and a few spots to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages. Offsetting to the endpapers.
