Very scarce work. One of the official route maps for the city of London during the coronation of Elizabeth II as queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms which took place on 2nd June 1953 at Westminster Abbey. Elizabeth acceded to the throne at the age of twenty-five upon the death of her father, George VI, on 6 February 1952, being proclaimed queen by her privy and executive councils shortly afterwards. This folding map displays the roads avoiding the coronation routes, the full processional route, entrance points for viewers' cars, and parking areas.
Condition
The original folded paper map. In very smart condition with minor wear to the extremities and the odd small mark.
