Rudyard Kipling's classic work Just So Stories, first published in 1902, is a collection of origin stories; for example, how the leopard got his spots. The book was inspired by his bedtime stories to his daughter Josephine; she insisted that they must be told "just so", in exactly the same words each time.
Condition
In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Externally smart, with just a little bumping to the corners. Slightly faded to the spine. Front hinge is slightly strained but remains firmly held. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
