The work is heavily illustrated throughout with adverts, providing interesting historical context into the companies in business during the first half of the twentieth century. The annual documents the battle ships from around the world, including Spanish destroyers, Chinese gunboats, and French Cruisers, all with photographs and diagrams.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally, generally smart with light scattered damp stains to the boards, slight rubbing to the extremities with small closed tears to the tail of the spine. Front hinge starting after the 'Parsons Marine Geared Turbines' ad. Owner's signature to the front pastedown. Internally binding strained in places, with clean and bright pages and the odd minor handling mark.
