An early US book club edition of this Agatha Christie novel, otherwise known as after the funeral published in the same year as the first edition.

While this book itself is published by Walter J. Black, the dust wrapper is that of the US true first (pub. Dodd, Mead and Company) which in fact preceded the UK first edition by two months. Dust wrapper is unclipped.

A murder mystery in which a wealthy man is found dead in his home. At the funeral, his sister announces that he was murdered, and Poirot is enlisted to investigate.

Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fine. Inscription to front free endpaper. Dust wrapper back strip age toned, with minor loss to back strip tail. Internally, firmly bound. Pages exceptionally clean and bright.
