In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. A few light marks to the cloth. Very light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Prior owner's ink inscription to the front paste down. Author's inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
