    This is a six volume set of The official Wisden Cricketers' Almanack, an annual publication known as the "Bible of Cricket."

    The text is a reference book with details of awards, records, laws and administrations in the sport for the past year, with details of English cricket and overseas cricket. This collection captures pivotal years of cricket post‑1945, including the rise of West Indies, Pakistan, and the resurgence of Test match intensity across the Commonwealth.

    This collection includes the 1953 (90th Year), 1955 (92nd), 1956 (93rd), 1957 (94th), 1958 (95th), and 1959 (96th) editions.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth bindings. Externally, generally very smart. Spines of volumes 1956, 1957, and to head of spine of 1958, slightly cockled. Spines slightly faded. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities. The odd slight spot of damp staining to boards and spine of 1957. The odd spot to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with the odd spot, heavier to fore edge and first and last few leaves.
