The first edition of this vanishingly scarce work.

A concise history and guide to the Doon Valley, an unusually wide and long valley in the Lesser Himalayas. In the valley lies a city named Dehradun. 

Illustrated with seven plates. Collated, complete.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with light marks. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Hinges are tender. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Loss to the front paste down. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
