Publishers' Original Binding
A popular collection of thirteen short poems, containing fewer than one-thousand words in total, from pioneering Irish modernist writer James Joyce.
Joyce's second published collection of poems, written over a twenty year period between 1904 and 1924, and with each poem followed by the year and location of composition. The publication was originally rejected by Ezra Pound, before being published by Shakespeare and Company in 1927.
Condition
In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, generally smart, with light age-toning to the wraps. A small amount of loss to the backstrip. A few minor marks to the wraps. Inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
