Description

First Edition, Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

First edition. Illustrated throughout. When Jane Foster was twelve years old, her parents decided that although they wanted her to become a veterinary surgeon when she grew up, it might be good to have some lessons in dancing. Then her cousin Mariella, the daughter of a prima ballerina expected to follow in her mother's footsteps, arrives to stay at the family farm. Written by Lorna Hill, an English author of over forty books for children which remained popular into the twenty-first century. Illustrated by Eve Guthrie, a British artist and illustrator, noted for her images of dancers.
