First edition. Illustrated throughout. When Jane Foster was twelve years old, her parents decided that although they wanted her to become a veterinary surgeon when she grew up, it might be good to have some lessons in dancing. Written by Lorna Hill, an English author of over forty books for children which remained popular into the twenty-first century.
