From much-loved English television figure and Poet Laureate, John Betjeman, a founding member of The Victorian Society and a passionate defender of Victorian architecture at a time when it was considered unfashionable.

Adorned with illustrations throughout and a folding plate containing the points of interest of Cheltenham.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, very smart. With light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Slight sunning to the spine and marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with light spotting to the endpapers.
