'Sherry' is signed by Simon to the title page.
Pocket books in the original cloth bindings, with the original illustrative slipcase issued for the first series.
Of the First Series (second edition), this set includes 'Sherry', 'Champagne', 'Port', 'Burgundy', and 'South Africa'.
Of the Second Series (first edition), this set includes 'Madeira', 'Italy', and 'Loire'.
Offering a series of small, but informative books on the wines and other liqueurs of these regions, illustrated with a sketch map to each. With chapters on their vineyards and specialities.
Condition
In the original cloth bindings, with the original First Series slipcase. Externally, with moderate rubbing to the extremities and marks most visible to the boards 'Sherry' and 'Champagne'. Slipcase is worn, with separation to the spine head and tail from the boards and marks to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with offsetting and light spotting to the endpapers. Andre L. Simon's signature to the title page of 'Sherry'.
