In the publisher's original cloth binding, with gilt emblem to the front board.

Undated, dated from a copy held by the British Library. 

Illustrated throughout, including a monochrome frontispiece and a folding coloured map. 

A history of the development of Gulf Oil, a major global oil company that operated from 1901-1985 and one of the Seven Sisters oil companies. 

The company celebrates a half century of the company's run, beginning with the output of oil at Spindletop near Beaumont, Texas and going on to detail the opening of the world's first drive-in gas station by the company in Pittsburgh.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
