What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Very Scarce

A very scarce pamphlet in the original paper wraps.

Loosely inserted is a typewritten note, giving an example of the Ministry of Pensions refusing to pay the compensation they should have paid towards the treatment of a First World War veteran.

This pamphlet provides a record of the author's experiences with the Ministry of Pensions over a thirty year period, in which they refused to pay compensation towards the treatment of his war injuries and to provide him with an Old Age Pension.

A. L. Artus was an officer of the Regular Army (1915-16) on Retired Pay, and Chief of the Historical Section The General Staff South African Defence Force (1917-18).

Condition

In the original paper wraps. Externally, sound, with scattered spotting to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
