Kathleen Le Riche was a staple author of British home cookbooks of the 1950s, known for Cooking Alone (1954) and Cooking for a Party.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart. Slight fading to extremities and spine. The odd slight handling mark. Spot of damp staining to upper left corner of rear board. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper "Kathleen Holmes to you, 5th September 1938." Bookplate from "matrin & Pamela Finch: Exlibris Gastronomique" to front free endpaper. internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean, if slightly age toned.
