Colour Plates, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

A charming children's pop-up, published to coincide with the 1950 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer musical Technicolor motion picture adaptation of the life of sharpshooter Annie Oakley.

Illustrated with four full colour pop-up plates, all of which are in full working order. Also illustrated throughout in colour and monochrome. Collated, complete.

The musical starred Betty Hutton, who was recognized with a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress.

Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the British Library.

Condition

In the original publisher's paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart, a little rubbed. Lacking the cloth to the backstrip. A few light marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with a few light spots and handling marks.
