A set of four novels from prolific writer Dennis Wheatley, whose output of thrillers and occult novels made him one of the world's best-selling authors from the 1930s through to the 1960s. 

Comprising three works from his Roger Brook series (following fictional secret agent and gallant of the Napoleonic Wars) and one work from his Gregory Sallust series, featuring the debonair spy Gregory Sallust, a forerunner to Ian Fleming's James Bond.

Condition

In the original cloth bindings. With the original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, very smart, with slight cocking to the spine of 'Island', and very minor shelf wear to 'Island' and 'King'. Dust wrappers for 'Irish Witch' and 'Venice' are very smart, with minor edge wear only. Wrapper for 'King' is chipped to the spine head, with numerous tears, the largest of which runs down the front flyleaf. 'Island' is edge worn, with tape reinforcing the loss to the spine head and tail. With handling marks to both. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with scattered spots to the endpapers of 'Island' and 'Irish Witch'.
