Early Middle English Literature second edition (1951), originally published 1939.
The Lost Literature of Medieval England first edition (1952).

Early Middle English Literature examines literature from the period of 1066 to 1300 and addresses the transition between Old and Middle English, whilst The Lost Literature of Medieval England provides an account of lost masterpieces of medieval English literature.

R. M. Wilson was the Head of the Department of English Language at the University of Sheffield. 

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, excellent. Minor shelf wear to boards. Dust wrappers excellent. Creasing to extremities of both and the odd small chip and minor closed tear to spine head of Lost Literature wrap. Slight fading to spines of wrap. The odd mark to both. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright with slight age toning and the occasional spot, to first and last few. Spotting to fore edges.
