Scarce work. Illustrated with many full-page and in-text images. Workshop manual for the year 1950 as issued by Wolseley Motors Limited, a British motor vehicle manufacturer. This manual was specific for the four-fifty model issued as Wolseley's first post-war automobile, being put into production in 1948. The cars, which featured a round Morris rear and upright Wolseley grille, were used extensively by the police at that time. Detailing information required for the repairs of the engine, fuel systems, gearbox, road springs, steering gear, braking system, wheels and tires, body, heater, and much more.
Condition
In the original paper wraps. Externally, smart with light shelf wear to the extremities and the odd mark to the board. Garage stamp to the front board. Minor loss to the tail of the spine and tide marks to the boards. Internally, generally firmly bound, title page loosening. Pages are bright and clean with the odd handling mark.
