'The Rockingdown Mystery' is the first book in Enid Blyton's 'Barney Mysteries' series. 

This novel follows two siblings and their recently orphaned cousin, as they go on holiday to Rockingdown, whereupon they meet a circus boy and his pet monkey.

Illustrated with head-pieces by Gilbert Dunlop.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart, with light handling marks to the cloth, as is usual to see with yellow cloth. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Heavier mark to the rear board. Spots to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with only a few scattered spots.
