The most successful play of T. S. Eliot, 'The Cocktail Party' focuses on a troubled married couple who try and sort out their relationship issues thanks to the help of a mysterious stranger.
This play was first performed at the Edinburgh Festival in 1949.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart, with light marks and discolouration to the boards and spine. Spots to the fore edge and endpapers. Bookseller's label to the front paste down, prior owner's ink inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Light edge wear to the dust wrapper. Spine and extremities are age-toned. Light marks to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
