    Illustrated, Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

    A lovely first edition copy of prolific writer Sacheverell Sitwell's travel writing title on Spain.

    In original blue cloth binding, in excellent condition, and with original clipped pictorial dust wrapper.

    This descriptive work is frequently punctuated by charming and varied plates of photographs, sketches, and paintings.

    This title features a colour frontispiece, 2 further colour plates, 4 pages of maps, one single-sided monochrome plate, and 32 further double-sided monochrome plates.

    Condition

    Bound in original blue cloth, with original clipped dust wrapper. Externally, in excellent condition. The odd marks to boards. Bumping to extremities. Very slight marks to endpapers. Dust wrapper chipped, and rubbed to extremities. Evidence of mending weaknesses with tape to reverse of dust wrappers. Corresponding age toning to reverse, and fly leaves. The odd mark to reverse of dust wrapper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages consistently bright and clean.
