A very scarce first edition.
A charming juvenile work which folds out into a 360 degree work displaying four pop-out scenes.
These scenes depict a railway booking hall, a diesel and steam train, a boat train, and goods' train with a signal box. Pop-ups are complete and in full working order.
Collated, complete.
The rear board illustration is signed 'Higham'.
Condition
In the publisher's pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, very smart, with light rubbing to board perimeters. Internally, firmly bound. Plates bright and generally clean, with only the odd light handling mark. Pop-ups in full working order.
