As well as serving twice as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Churchill also submitted paintings for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and was elected as an "Honorary Academician Extraordinary" at The Royal Academy of Arts.

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. A little age toning to the perimeters of the plates, not affecting the images. Dust wrapper is bright and smart, with chipping to the head of the spine, including a small loss.
