A charming children's pop-up, published to coincide with the 1950 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer musical Technicolor motion picture adaptation of the life of sharpshooter Annie Oakley.

Illustrated with four full colour pop-up plates, in full working order. With further full page and vignette illustrations, in both colour and monochrome. Collated, complete.

The musical starred Betty Hutton, who was recognized with a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress.

With the label of Michael and Megan Dawson, a husband and wife who established a successful business dealing in and restoring pop-up books, to the head of the front pastedown. A further stationer's stamp to front pastedown.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth backed pictorial paper covered boards. A touch of fraying to head and tail of back strip. Boards bright. Bookseller's stamp and former owner's label to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Pop-ups in full working order.
