'All and Everything' collects together George Gurdjieff's best known philosophical works, this volumes being the first series he planned of three. This work includes three books under the title of 'An Objectively Impartial Criticism of the Life of Man', or, 'Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson'.
It is Gurdjieff's aim in this work "to destroy, mercilessly, without any compromises whatsoever, in the mentation and feelings of the reader, the beliefs and views, by centuries rooted in him, about everything existing in the world".
Gurdjieff was an important philosopher and spiritual teacher, his teaching known as "The Work", and referred to by his student Ouspensky as the "Fourth Way".
