This collection features four first edition 'Famous Five' novels by the celebrated Enid Blyton. The 'Famous Five' novels follow four children and their trusty dog as they embark on exciting adventures and solve mysteries. This set includes; 'Five fall into Adventure', 'Five go to the Sea', 'Five on Finniston Farm' and 'Five go to Demon's Rocks'.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart with slight bumping to the extremities and fading to the tail of the spine to 'Finniston Farm'. 'Demon's Rocks' lacking rear free endpaper, offsetting to the endpapers to 'Finniston Farm' and spotting to the endpapers to 'Five Fall into Adventure'. The wraps are sound with creasing, chips and closed tears to the extremities, marks and loss to the spines to all but 'Five go to Demon's Rocks', which is lacking rear fly leaf. Spotting to the versos and tape repairs to the verso of 'Down to the Sea'. Internally firmly bound with lightly age toned pages with the odd spot. Owner's ink inscription to 'Finniston Farm'.
