His personal wood engravings are a perfect complement to the text. Written by Robert John Gibbings, an Irish artist and author noted for his work as a wood engraver and sculptor, as well as his books on travel and natural history.
Condition
Bound in full crushed morocco. Externally, excellent with light fading to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
