With the original unclipped dust wrapper.

A delightful work made up of twenty-two writers' favourite aspects of London life, including Regent's Park by Elizabeth Bowen, railway stations by John Betjeman, and the Kensington spinsters by Nicolas Bentley, among others. 

Accompanying these passages are equally charming drawings from various artists. With twelve full-page colour plates, twelve double-sided monochrome plates, and numerous in-text illustrations. Collated, complete.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. With the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with minor rubbing and bumping to the spine head and tail. Dust wrapper is smart, with sunning to the spine and edge wear, heaviest to the spine head and tail which has been reinforced with tape. A couple spots to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
