    First Edition, Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

    The first edition, first impression to ‘Five are Together Again’. Second impression to ‘Five go Off to Camp’, sixth impression to ‘Five on a Treasure Island’, 3rd impression of the ‘Brockhampton Leicester’ edition to ‘Five Run Away Together’, third impression to ‘Five Go Off in a Caravan’ and third impression to ‘Five Go Adventuring Again’. 

    Six volumes. 

    In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrappers to all but 'Adventuring Again' which is clipped. 

    Illustrated with monochrome, red and blue illustrations by Eileen Soper. 

    This collection features six 'Famous Five' novels written by Enid Blyton, following four children and their trusty dog as they embark on exciting adventures and solve mysteries. This set includes; ‘Five Go Off To Camp’, ‘Five are Together Again’, ‘Five Run Away Together’, ‘Five Go Off in a Caravan’, ‘Five on a Treasure Island’ and ‘Five Go Adventuring Again’.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper to all but 'Adventuring again' which is clipped. Externally smart with bumping to the extremities, and a slight lean to 'Five Go Off To Camp' and 'Five On A Treasure Island'. Old ink inscription to the front pastedown to 'Five on a Treasure Island', offsetting and spotting to 'Five Go Adventuring Again' and an owner's stamp to 'Five Are Together Again'. The wraps are worn with chips, slight marks, creasing and small closed tears, with loss to the front and spine to 'Treasure Island', to the spine to 'Five Run Away Together', a tidemark to the spine to 'In a Caravan' and front flyleaf detached but present to 'Five go off to Camp'. Internally firmly bound with lightly age toned pages with occasional spotting. Spotting to the fore edge.
