C. S. Forester (Cecil Louis Troughton Smith) was an English novelist widely renowned for his tales of naval warfare, in particular his twelve-book 'Horatio Hornblower' series set during the Napoleonic Wars.

Condition

In the original cloth binding, with the original clipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart, with bumping to the extremities and a few faint marks to the spine. Dust wrapper is edge worn, with loss to the spine head and tail, otherwise smart. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with offsetting to the endpapers and a small impression from the The Book Stall, Taj Mahal Hotel, Bombay to the front free endpaper.
