Mickey Mouse was created by Walt Disney in 1928, first appearing on screen in 'Steamboat Willie'; he was also the first cartoon character to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

This annual contains stories, verses, and fun sketches featuring Mickey and his friends Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece illustration and numerous illustrations in text coloured in duo-tone black and red. 

A nostalgic edition of one of the most influential and loveable cartoons of all time. Copyright date is 1947 for the 1948 annual. This edition was seen in three cover variants, two with same picture and different cover board, one with a different picture, all with identical contents and copyrighted 1947.

Condition

In the original publisher's binding, green boards with colourful illustration to front. Externally lovely with minor shelf wear only, spine and boards only lightly bumped to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. With a colourful frontispiece and other illustrations in text coloured red and black.
