Charmingly adorned throughout the text with illustrations in colour.
Condition
In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding, with illustrated paper covered boards. Externally, very smart, with minor rubbing to the board corners and and a couple subtle marks to the boards. Front hinge is tender. Internally, generally firmly bound, with a few leaves loosening. Pages are generally bright and clean, with offsetting to the endpapers and a contemporary ink inscription to the front pastedown. Sections left to be filled have been filled in with pencil. With the odd minor spot or mark.
